This is our newest kydex ferro rod holder that has a retention top and it is different from our other ferro rod holders because it is closed at the bottom and the top swings open exposing the rod. Only available for 1/2 inch x 6inch ferro rods at this time. Of course, we use nothing but .080 thick kydex to make sure that it is virtually indestructible. The hole in the top of the cap is there so that you can put your favorite paracord color and design on it to help you put the cap to access the ferro rod.
